FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of biogas. Apparatus for production of biogas by anaerobic digestion of organic material is disclosed. Apparatus comprises a reactor with gas generator zone for arrangement of organic material and gas collection zone for collection of biogas. In gas collection zone there is one or more nozzles for spraying liquid, cooling gas, collecting element for collection of cooling liquid, one or more safety valves. Safety valve is a liquid safety valve. Collecting element is arranged to cause flow of collected cooling liquid in liquid safety valve.
EFFECT: invention provides simplification of existing anaerobic fermenters.
