SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rodent destruction devices and can be used in agriculture and in everyday life. Trap for rodents comprises a container with liquid, a bait, ramp and rotary element. Rotary element is made in form of a cover floating on liquid surface. Cover repeats shape of container and is made of waterproof material. Density of waterproof material is less than density of water. Cover is impregnated with an agent having a rodent-attracting smell. Ramp is attached to outer side of container. Ramp envelopes container along circumference by not less than 10% of perimeter. Means of holding bait is made in form of a rod bent at right angle. Rod is attached to upper part of container.
EFFECT: simple design, reliable and high efficiency of catching rodents.
