SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. Message is transmitted between STAs to predict the type of modulation, which can be used when transmitting a packet in accordance with the specification of the alliance of Wireless Gigabit transmission (WiGig) and 802.11ad standard of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Message can be used for disconnection or activation of the automatic gain control (AGC) on the side of the receiving STA.
EFFECT: higher throughput owing to use of technologies related to support of wireless connections between stations (STA).
