FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modulation and coding means. Stream of data bits is segmented into segments of size 336 bits. Adding 336 bits of filling to each segment of size of 336 bits to generate corresponding initial words of size of 672 bits. Low-density parity check (LDPC) code is used to rate ½ to each 672-bit initial word to generate corresponding 1344-bit code word which includes 672 parity bits. For each code word, 336 bits of 336 bits are replaced, which are obtained from data bits contained in a code word, to provide a code word of size 1344 bits, which includes concatenation of 336 data bits, 336 bits obtained from data bits, and 672 parity bits.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of modulation and coding scheme, suitable for use with long LDPC code.
