SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless data transmission. Disclosed is a transmitter for transmitting a presentation protocol data unit (PPDU) having a header with a scramble initialization field, wherein said transmitter comprises: a scramble initializer for a bit of the scramble initialization field bit for transferring control information, in which control information indicates a set of one or more channels to be used by the transmitter, and a scrambler for scrambling content in the header after the initialization field of the scrambler and the associated MAC frame or part of the MAC frame based on the scramble initialization value transmitted in the scramble initialization field.

EFFECT: high efficiency of exchanging control information and providing backwards compatibility of the control frame.
