FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of vibration diagnostics used on railway transport. Method involves determination of suitability of railway cargo cars at their movement using an intellectual-measurement system consisting of acceleration sensors of wheels markers connected to a personal computer equipped with a program based on a relation of a rail vibrations acceleration value with the size of gaps in side bearings. As the result gaps in the side bearings not meeting standards are identified automatically, while eliminating the human factor.
