FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control systems and is used for flaw detection and diagnostics of axle bearing assemblies of wheel pairs. Post of integrated control of axle box defects of units and wheels of moving cars includes a module for control of dynamic loads, made of installed between rails and pads fibre-optic sensors with converters connected to the first input of the second comparator unit, the second input is connected to unit of reference signals, the output of comparator unit is connected through correction and data processing unit to the second input of processor. Defect detection module within the "wheel-rail" system is made of fixed on rail web strain gauges connected via appropriate channels of the strain amplifier and analogue-to-digital converter to the third input of processor. Counter of wheel pairs is connected via matching unit and switch to the fourth input of processor, its output via the local area network is connected to a personal computer of automated workstation.
EFFECT: higher device functionality due to complex control with simultaneous detection of defects of axle bearing assemblies and railway car wheel surface defects.
