FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to macroporous composites filled with disperse particles of a sorbent included in the polymer phase of the macropores walls. Composition for producing the disclosed material contains a polyelectrolyte, a dispersed filler representing particles of supersewed sorbent polystyrene and water. Polyelectrolyte used is alginate, chitosan, pectate or a complex of polyacrylate-polyimine. Method of producing a material from the said composition comprises dispersion of particles of the supersewed sorbent polystyrene in a water solution of polyelectrolyte, freezing the suspension, sublimation drying the obtained composite and converting the polyelectrolyte into a non-water-soluble form.

EFFECT: proposed is a macroporous composite.
