FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Proposed is a method for controlling movement of a vehicle service door, herewith the vehicle comprises a frame, at least one service door movably coupled with the frame, a cabin, an engine, a monitor with user controls located in the cabin and a camera arranged on the frame. Method includes receiving a first input from the user control elements for activating a program of the door control stored in the controller and determining whether one or more threshold conditions is satisfied. Method also includes receiving a second input from the user controls, herewith the second input relates to selection of the service door. Method additionally includes displaying on the monitor an image from the camera and receiving a third input from the user controls. Selected service door moves in a controlled manner in the required direction.
EFFECT: proposed invention allows to simplify access to different parts of the vehicle for performing maintenance or diagnostics of their state.
