FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to construction of underwater pipelines. Pipe laying vessel (1) moves forward and lays pipeline (2) into the water reservoir (3) as its structure. Pipeline (2) has a section of the pipe of specified thickness and distributed along the pipeline (2) section (12) of the tube with larger thickness, more resistant to bending and destruction. For plugging of the pipeline (2) laid on the reservoir bottom, the running gear (13, 32) is moved forward inside it. Motion of the driving mechanism (13, 32) is performed in stages depending on position of sections (12) of the tube with larger thickness and point (11) of contact of the pipeline (2) with the bottom (8) of the reservoir (3).
EFFECT: allows reducing the damage caused by destruction of the pipeline (2) or filling it with water.
