FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 4′-fluorospiro[cyclopropane-1,3′-indol]-2′(1′H)-one through alkylation of 2-(2,6-difluorophenyl)acetonitrile 1,2-dibromomethane, followed by partial hydrolysis of obtained reaction product to 1-(2,6 difluorophenyl)cyclopropane-1-carboxamide and intramolecular N-arylation, wherein intramolecular N-arylation is carried out by treating 1-(2,6-difluorophenyl)cyclopropane-1-carboxamide obtained in situ with potassium hydroxide solution in boiling ethylene glycol.

EFFECT: simplified process of producing 4′-fluorospiro[cyclopropane-1,3′-indol]-2′(1′H)-one and high purity of formed product.
