SUBSTANCE: method includes washing stars with sea water, releasing from rinsing water by trickling, freezing and storage. According to the first option, before freezing, living stars in are soaked in advance in perforated containers for 6-36 hours at temperature from 0 to +28 °C. According to the second option, before freezing stars are softened, then they are put in perforated containers and are held there for 8.5-0.5 hours.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce consumption of energy while freezing sea stars before refrigeration storage.
