SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a group of inventions relating to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology, and including a method and a device for determining optical aberrations of eye, optical system of which comprises cornea and lens. Method comprises reconstruction of wave front aberration of eye as deviations of wave front, determined using optical system of eye and aberrometry method, from an ideal planar wave front, generated by non-aberration eye model. When designing a non-aberration eye model, measured axial length of eye is used.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides more accurate calculation and evaluation of visual defects, including aberration of higher orders, as well as obtain optimised individual eye model and optimised ablation profile for laser surgical correction of corneal refraction index and/or performing calculation of intraocular lens relative to its shape and material.
