OPHTHALMOLOGIC LENSES AVAILABLE FOR PRESBIOPY CORRECTION THAT INVOLVES HIGH-ORDER ABERRATION CORRECTION Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC G02C7/04 A61F2/16

Abstract RU 2379727 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ophthalmology. The effect is ensured by measuring the first base registered set of refraction-related parametres of a human dominant eye, providing at least one distant fixation object, measuring the second base registered set of refraction-related parametres of a human nondominant eye, providing at least one distant fixation object, and measuring the registered set of refraction-related proximity parametres of nondominant eye, providing at least one close fixation object. It also involves measuring the first set of high-order wave front aberrations for dominant eye, providing at least one distant fixation object, measuring the second set of high-order aberrations for nondominant eye, providing at least one close fixation object, transforming each measuring result of the first and second sets of high-order aberrations into the height difference and using the first base registered set of refraction-related parametres and the height difference for dominant eye to produce a first ophthalmologic lens, and the second base registered set of refraction-related parametres, the registered set of refraction-related proximity parametres and the height difference for nondominant eye to produce a second ophthalmologic lens.

EFFECT: production of ophthalmologic lenses correcting low-order and high-order wave front aberrations for the user's eyes.
