FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition suitable for producing moulded articles. Described is a composition suitable for producing moulded articles, containing: A) ethylene-based polymer; B) a compound selected from compounds of formula 1: where R1 and R2 are independently selected from C1-C20 alkyl groups, X denotes OH, n ranges from 1 to 10 and m ranges from 10 to 30 and where compound of formula 1 is present in an amount of 500-2,500 ppm in terms of total weight of composition; C) compound selected from compounds of formula 2: where R1, R2 and R3, each independently selected from C1-C20 alkyl groups; R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9, each independently selected from C1-C20 alkyl groups, X1, X2 and X3, each denotes OH, n ranges from 1 to 6, m ranges from 1 to 6 and o ranges from 1 to 6; and where weight ratio of component C to component B (C/B) is greater than 1, D) a compound selected from compounds of formula 3; where R1 and R2 are each independently selected from C1-C20 alkyl groups, X denotes OH, n ranges from 1 to 10 and m ranges from 1 to 10; E) a compound selected from compounds of formula 4: where R1 and R2 are each independently selected from C1-C20 alkyl groups; and where component (E) is present in amount of 500 to 1,500 ppm by weight of composition, and where weight ratio of component (E) to component B (E/B) from 0.5 to 2.0. Also described is a moulded article, containing at least one element formed from said composition.

EFFECT: technical result is production of improved polymer compositions based on non-crosslinked polyethylene suitable for use in contact with cold and hot water.
