CLAMPING MECHANISM WITH HOOK FOR BOOT BRACKET Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A63C9/18 

FIELD: personal usage; sports.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a fixing mechanism with hook to clamp boot, made in form of movable plates, installed in the ski binding head with T-shaped base 1 and two bent from its sides at an angle 90° parallel plates 2 and 3 with seats 4 and 5, in lower part repeating lower profile of bracket boot. Upper part of plates, used as hooks, is made with chamfers 6 and 7. In the base 1 of T-shaped plate, in its lower part, on the side of hooks is also made bend 8 at an acute angle. Camping mechanism also comprises second bend 9 made at an angle of 90° to the base. Second bend 9 is equipped with a stabilizer 10 of position of spring element located in the head of the ski binding. Stabilizer 10 is formed as a cylindrical body integrally formed with the bent 8.

EFFECT: clamping mechanism provides automatic opening of the ski binding.
