FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing esters of fluorinated acids, namely bromodifluoroacetic acid, in particular bromoethyldifluoroacetate. Bromoethyldifluoroacetate is important intermediate in synthesis of many pharmaceutical preparations, as well as plant protection agents. This invention proposes method of producing bromoethyldifluoroacetate, involving reaction of 2-bromotetrafluoroethyl halogen sulfate, where halogen is chlorine or fluorine, with ethyl alcohol in presence of base, while cooling; 2-bromotetrafluoroethyl chlorine sulfate as semi-finished product for producing bromoethyldifluoroacetate; as well as method of producing 2-bromotetrafluoroethyl chlorine sulfate by interaction of tetrafluoroethylene with bromine chloride, freshly prepared from bromine and chlorine, and chlorosulphonic acid, followed by its extraction from reaction mixture by vacuum distillation.
EFFECT: method of producing bromodifluoroacetic acid is disclosed.
