SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a position adjusting device which includes: adjusting body, including a row of adjusting elements, in which multiple adjusting elements of specific shape are arranged with the specific cycle of adjustment along a specific direction; holder which holds the adjusting body in one of multiple modes of retention, so that some adjusting elements face in a specific holding direction; and adjustable body, its position relative to the holder is determined by adjusting the adjusted element, which has the possibility of adjustment with adjusting elements together with one of the adjusting elements. Row of adjusting elements is located so that the minimum distance between the position of adjustable body with adjusted element, adjusted together with one adjusting element in a row of adjusting elements in adjustment range, shorter than the specific cycle adjustment.

EFFECT: invention provides easier and more accurate position adjustment, as well as adjustment of size of space for savings notes of different sizes, avoiding their deformation during the operation of the device.
