FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering. Method of generating power pulses of pulse nuclear reactor provides modulation of reactivity in pulse nuclear reactor during movement of pulse nuclear reactor reactivity modulator within reactor core. Required parameters power pulse are used to determine relationship between reactor power and time and decay function of precursors of delayed neutrons. Reactivity of pulse nuclear reactor is calculated from ratio using given decay functions of precursors of delayed neutrons and relationship between reactor power and time. Element for controlling reactivity is included form of a button and control element for movement reactivity modulator is launched, consisting of motor, drives and elements for transferring motion of reactivity modulator in form of a neutron absorber and reflector. Movement of reactivity modulator is provided according to ratio taking into account change in reactivity of pulse nuclear reactor over time.
EFFECT: generation of required power pulses of pulse nuclear reactor.
