FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalyst removal plant and method of catalyst removing from polycrystalline cutter. Cutter comprises substrate and blade. Plant contains reservoir with cavity, liquid electrolyte filling cavity, cutter, coating, which surrounds at least part of cutter side wall and extending from, at least, substrate upper surface to lower surface, cathode immersed in liquid electrolyte, power supply source and ultrasonic transducer. Cutting blade is immersed into liquid electrolyte and placed next to cathode with formation of gap between them. Power supply source is connected to cutter and cathode and liquid electrolyte is subjected to electrolysis for reaction with catalyst in blade with production of salt under action of ultrasonic vibrations on cutter. Salt dissolves in liquid electrolyte and removed from cutter.
EFFECT: enabling higher efficiency of catalyst removal.
