FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to drill tool including cutting tool with polycrystalline diamond elements and to its production. Method of cutting tool production comprises making of diamond plate with polycrystalline diamond material and with first material located in internodes between bonded diamond crystals and polycrystalline diamond material. First material is removed from internodes in at least one part of polycrystalline diamond materials. Second material is selected to allow higher rate of diamond crystal destruction at high temperatures than that whereat first material is removed from internodes at the same high temperatures. Second material is introduced into internodes between bonded diamond crystals in at least one part of diamond plate wherefrom first material is removed. Cutting tool comprises first area of polycrystalline diamond material containing first material in internodes between bonded diamond crystals in the first area of polycrystalline diamond material. Second area of polycrystalline diamond material contains second material in internodes between diamond crystals in second area of polycrystalline diamond material. Note here that second material is selected to induce higher rate of destruction of polycrystalline diamond material than said first material. Drilling tool comprises described cutting tool.

EFFECT: longer life and higher efficiency.
