SUBSTANCE: invention relates to human body back scattering inspection method and system. Method comprises obtaining back scattering scanning images of a human body to be inspected, distinguishing human body images and background images in back scattering scanning images and calculating characteristic parameters of background images so as to determine whether radioactive substances are carried by human body. By means of some embodiments according to present disclosure, it can be determined whether radioactive substances are carried in or on human body during backscattering inspection of human body. According to further embodiments according to present disclosure, it can be approximately determined in which part(s) or on which part(s) of human body radioactive substance is carried.
EFFECT: high efficiency of inspection.
