FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer engineering. A method of displaying an interface image, in which a currently displayed image of an interface is obtained, and graying each pixel of an image of the interface; among gray gradations of all pixels the number of each gray scale is determined; determining N gray gradations, the number of which is highest, where N is a given positive integer; when each difference between said N gray gradations exceeds a first predetermined value, and the ratio of the sum of the amounts of said N gray gradations to the sum of the amounts of all gray scale values exceeds a second predetermined value, determining a brightness adjustment parameter corresponding to the interface image; and reducing current brightness of illumination based on brightness adjustment parameter; wherein the brightness adjustment parameter is an adjustment factor.
EFFECT: low power consumption of the mobile phone screen.
