FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: proposed technical solution relates to stationary demonstration benches and can be used for interactive visualization of the simulated space. Technical result is achieved by that the method of generating a simulated space is characterized by that formed is a basic coordinate system for a given region of the real space relative to a stationary point of stereoscopic binocular base installation, formed are simulated space images in an electronic computing device, set are the simulated space images relative to the basic coordinate system, displayed are images of the simulated space on the screen, which is optically connected with eyepieces of the stereoscopic binocular secured on a stationary base to allow rigid referencing images of the simulated space to the basic coordinate system of real space, herewith control over a position of the view point in the horizontal and the vertical planes, as well as over the angle of view of the simulated space is performed by changing the stereoscopic binocular position secured on the stationary base.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is simplified control over watching the created stereoscopic image of the simulated space due to centralized control over movement of the point of view (eye position of the viewer) in the vertical and the horizontal planes as well as the viewing angle by changing the position of the stereoscopic binocular secured on a stationary base in real space.
