SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to autocomplete of electronic forms, in particular, to a method and a system for automatic filling of web forms with personal user data. Method comprises steps of: generating and sending by a client a request for automatic filling of fields of electronic forms to an external application; processing said request on external application and sending processed request to an autocomplete system; performing user authentication and external application in autocomplete system, returning to user from autocomplete system data for filling only specific fields of electronic forms in accordance with said identifiers; wherein autocomplete system is part of independent external system, to which previously provided personal data.

EFFECT: technical result is providing safe automatic filling of forms using information previously stored by user on any of available independent external systems, and is achieved by using method and system for automatic filling of electronic forms with personal user data.
