FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. When receiving broadcast multicast service (MBMS) terminal in mobile communication system is determined, if reception zone identifier information is sent (SAI) on serving cell during MBMS; this information is received on SAI on serving cell when it is determined that this information on SAI is sent; determined by using received information on SAI serving cell whether SAI MBMS with SAI serving cell; and vary priority frequency serving cell during repeated cell selection on the highest priority, if SAI MBMS coincides with SAI serving cell.
EFFECT: providing possibility to efficiently receive MBMS service by selecting terminal proper frequency or cell, when MBMS service is of interest.
