SUBSTANCE: method for transmitting an upperlink message performed by a user equipment (UE) comprises: receiving a request for a cell visiting history by the UE equipment; transmitting the cell visiting history by the UE equipment in response to this request. The cell visiting history may include identifier of the visited cell and time information corresponding to the visited cell. The cell identifier includes a physical cell identifier and the visiting history includes frequency information corresponding to the visited cell, if the user equipment does not receive the global cell identifier.
EFFECT: enabling the network to estimate the speed of the user equipment.
