FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: self-sealing tire comprises a carcass, tread band, applied on the outer side of said carcass, at least in the crown area of the tire, liner applied on the inner side of said carcass, layer of sealing material applied on inner side of said carcass and passing, at least, along the whole crown area of the tire, wherein the said sealing material includes partially chemically vulcanized composition containing unsaturated styrene thermoplastic elastomer.
EFFECT: technical result is improved reliability of self-sealing of a tire in case of a puncture.
