SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reciprocating machines and cooling systems thereof. The two-cylinder reciprocating compressor comprises cylinders 1 and 2 with suction and injection valves 3, 4 and 5, 6, working cavities 7 and 8, suction cavities 9 and 10, an injection cavity 11, a common liquid cooling jacket 12 and pistons 13 and 14, a first and a second containers 15 and 16 partially filled with a liquid. The container 15 has a suction and injection valves 17 and 18 connected by channels 19 and 20 with the jacket 12 connected with the container 16 by a channel 21. Adjustable hydraulic resistances are installed on the connecting channels 22 and 23. A heat exchanger 26 is installed on the channel 26. During reciprocating movement of the pistons 13 and 14, the position whereof is offset by 180 degrees, the volume of the cavities 7 and 8 is changed, resulting in the gas being suctioned through the valves 3 and 4, compressed and injected through the valves 5 and 6 into the cavity 11, and then supplied to the consumer. A pressure drop also occurs alternately between the containers 15 and 16, wherein the liquid moves circularly under said pressure drop, removing heat from the cylinders 1 and 2.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the cooling intensity and the range of adjustment of the gas temperature.
