FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of galvanic coatings of zinc-nickel alloys on steel and can be used in machine building, instrument-making, automotive industry and other fields. Electrolyte contains, g/l: zinc sulphate 7-10; nickel sulphate 20-30; potassium chloride 120-130; taurine 45-50; water up to 1 litre.
EFFECT: reduced corrosion rate of zinc-nickel coatings, while maintaining anodic nature of protection of steels by coatings (nickel content in coatings is 12-15 wt%) with simultaneous reduction of environmental load on waste water treatment due to reduction of electrolyte toxicity.
