FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of galvanic coatings with tin-zinc alloys on steel or aluminium and its alloys and can be used in electronic industry, ship building, machine building, instrument making and automobile industry. Electrolyte for electrodeposition of tin-zinc coatings contains components in the following ratio, g/l: tin sulphate 8-10, zinc sulphate 6-8, potassium pyrophosphate 40-50, ammonium oxalate 40-50, OS-20 preparation 0.8-1.0, water – up to 1 l.
EFFECT: reduced corrosion rate of tin-zinc coatings due to zinc content in coatings of 20-25 atm % with simultaneous reduction of environmental load on waste water treatment due to reduction of total concentration of complexing agents.
