SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video encoding/decoding. Disclosed is a method of decoding video data. Method includes a step of determining that a first transform coefficient of a first video block is a DC transform coefficient, wherein first video block comprises a plurality of sub-blocks. Further, method comprises determining first context for entropy decoding first transform coefficient based on that first transform coefficient is a DC transform coefficient, without considering first size of first video block. Method comprises determining that a second transform coefficient of a first video block is not a DC transform coefficient. And based on that second transform coefficient is not a DC transform coefficient, second context for entropy decoding of second transform coefficient is determined based at least in part on which of sub-blocks includes a second transform coefficient.
EFFECT: high efficiency of encoding/decoding video data.
