SUBSTANCE: carrier processing device, which comprises a retaining section, which includes an aperture, forming a hole for insertion of the carrier, and which holds the carrier inserted through a hole for insertion, a section for pressing the carrier, which is able to move between the wall of the first end side and wall of the second end side of the retaining section and which press the carrier inserted through a hole for insertion, to the wall of the second end side of the retaining section, and an opening section, extending between the section for pressing the carrier and the wall of the first end side of the retaining section and which opens in the area non-retaining the carrier between the section for pressing the carrier and the wall of the first end side of the retaining section, accompanying the movement of the section for pressing the carrier from the first end side to the second end side of the retaining section, to press the carrier inserted into the area retaining the carrier between the section for pressing the carrier and the wall of the second end side of the retaining section, to the wall of the second end side of the retaining section.
