FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propylene impact resistant copolymers. Propylene impact-resistant copolymer contains a matrix including a propylene homopolymer or a random copolymer of propylene and alpha-olefin and a dispersed phase. Total content of alpha-olefin in the impact-resistant propylene copolymer ranges from 10 to 35 wt%. Herewith the impact-resistant propylene copolymer dispersed phase is from 20 to 50 wt%, and the matrix has values of molecular weight distribution (MWD) between 4 and 8 and is characterized by high crystallinity.

EFFECT: impact-resistant propylene copolymer as per the invention demonstrates improved rigidity without deterioration of impact strength characteristics.
