FIELD: radar and navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passive radio monitoring systems and can be used in systems for locating radio-frequency emitting sources (RFES). Technical effect consists of the invention consists in preliminary delivery to supposed area of RFES at least of three self-retaining remotely controlled aircrafts (SRRCS), comprising onboard radio monitoring radio-electronic equipment. Delivery requires at least three carriers launching. On-board radioelectronic equipment includes device for determining coordinates of SRRCS, search and determination of parameters of RFES signals and transceiving of necessary data. After delivery of SRRCSs to area of arrangement of RFES, the onboard radio-electronic equipment simultaneously by signal "start" or automatically is activated for determining coordinates of SRRCSs, transmitting their values to the radio monitoring station. If necessary SRRCS location is changed by transfer of corresponding flight control signals. Searching, detection and determination of parameters of RFES signals which values are transmitted to the radio monitoring station. On the radio monitoring station according to data locating of RFES is determined relative to the coordinates of SRRCSs.
EFFECT: high efficiency of determining RFES coordinates placed in difficult landscape.
