FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of methane from coal beds and can be used in development and operation of coal-methanol wells using automatic process control. According to the method the well is connected to a control and power supply module. This module includes a pump control station with a frequency converter. Said station is made with the possibilities to control the pump capacity by changing the frequency basing on the downhole sensor data and controlling the annular pressure and the gas flow rate basing on the annular space pressure sensor. Method envisages opening/closing the throttle valve with an electric drive. Well is also connected to a metering and measuring unit module. It includes a gas and a water line with a throttle valve having an electric drive and a proportional-integral-differentiating regulator - PID-regulator, a shutoff valve with an electric drive. By means of them the well is controlled. For this purpose envisaged is the use of a program of development and operation of coal-methanol wells in the form of a data array. Data array is loaded into a centralized monitoring and control system. Herewith data are transmitted with a preset by the program time intervals in the automatic mode. Automatic adjustment is carried out by transmitting a supported parameter directly to the device for generating a control signal located in the metering and measuring module, in compliance with the program of development and operation of coal-methanol wells. At critical deviations of parameters of the well operation provided is its emergency shutdown in accordance with the program settings.

EFFECT: technical result is the increase of quality and efficiency of development and operation of coal-methanol wells due to automatic maintenance of a well operation parameters as per a specified schedule, reduced cost due to elimination of manual adjustment of parameters of the well operation.
