FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical tests of three-layer panels of aviation and space purpose with skins from a polymer composite material (PCM) and a cellular filler from a metal or a non-metal material. Core: a sample of an adhesive joint of the cellular filler with the skin is extended by applying a force to it in the direction perpendicular to the plane of adherence, and by the value of breaking load determined is the strength of the adhesive joint as a ratio of the breaking load to the cross-sectional square of the sample. Sample is obtained from a circular cutout in the panel to a depth equal to the sum of thicknesses of one skin and height of the cellular filler, while maintaining the adhesive joint of the sample with the other skin keeping its integrity. Device includes a housing, a loading unit, a load indicator with a grip and a metal overlay head glued to the sample. In the circular cutout of the panel a clamping case with a collar is installed resting at the intact skin. Onto the case there is a ring resting at the panel. Lower end of the housing wall is located between the case and the ring and rests on an annular projection of the case.

EFFECT: possibility of determining strength at cleavage of the adhesive joint of the cellular filler with the skin directly in the three-layer panel while keeping integrity of one of the skins, after which the product can be used in the aircraft.
