FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition, saturated with an additive, which is used in catalytic hydrotreatment of hydrocarbons, a method of producing said composition. Hydrotreatment catalyst composition containing support material, which contains active metal precursor and an additive containing at least 20 vol% of an ether amine compound. Metal component is selected from Groups 6, 9 and 10 of IUPAC periodic table and phosphorus. Ether amine compound has formula: R-O-(CH2)nNH2, where R is an alkyl functional group containing 4 to 14 carbon atoms, and n is an integer from 1 to 6; and has an ignition temperature of at least 80 °C, and molecular weight of more than 160. Method of preparing composition involves introduction of metal-containing solution into support material to obtain a metal-containing support material and introduction of additive, containing at least 20 vol% of ether amine compound in said metal-containing support material.

EFFECT: considerable increase in activity of composition with respect to desulphurisation and hydrodenitrogenation.
