SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydrotreating catalyst composition comprising a burnt molded substrate material from inorganic oxide, impregnated in one impregnation step by a nickel-containing or cobalt-containing component, a molybdenum-containing component and a phosphorus-containing component and dried without burning, and in which an additive in form of an acetoacetic acid compound is included, wherein said catalyst composition is unsulphide. Invention also relates to a method of producing the disclosed composition and a method for hydrodesulphurisation and/or hydrodeazotization of hydrocarbon material.
EFFECT: technical result is higher catalyst activity.
