FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic smoking article, comprising a cartridge body of a substantially tubular shape; carrier of inhalable substance, which has a substantially tubular shape and which contains an inhalable substance, wherein carrier of inhalable substance is located in cartridge body to form an annular space between carrier of inhalable substance and cartridge body; electric heating element and control body with interacting end functionally connected to cartridge and including electric power source, supplying electric power to electric heating element; wherein carrier of inhalable substance is functionally arranged with electric heating element so as to heat at least a section of carrier of inhalable substance sufficiently to generate steam in annular space, containing inhalable substance.
EFFECT: technical result consists is providing safe emulation of smoking.
