FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol delivery device, a controlling case for use with an element in the form of an aerosol source, and a method for control of operation of an aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device contains a controlling case having a casing, a power source located inside the casing, a heating element functionally connected to the power source, an element in the form of an aerosol source, which contains a means in the form of substance suitable for inhaling, and a stepwise movement mechanism connected to the heating element. The stepwise movement mechanism is made with the possibility of linear movement of the heating element for subsequent heating of at least one of two or more segments of the element in the form of the aerosol source.
EFFECT: possibility of subsequent heating of each of segments of an element in the form of an aerosol source.
