FIELD: aerosol delivery devices.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to embodiments of an aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device comprises a control housing having an outer casing, a power source located inside the casing, a control component functionally connected to the power source, a heating unit functionally connected to the control component, and an element in the form of an aerosol source, which contains an aerosol generating component made with the possibility of location near the heating unit. The heating unit contains a number of heating elements, with each heating element being independent and separate and configured to heat part of the element in the form of an aerosol source. The heating assembly comprises a movable clamp and a fixed clamp, the heating elements being located on the movable clamp that can move between an open position in which the movable clamp is located at a distance from the fixed clamp and the heating elements are not in contact with the element in the form of an aerosol source, and a closed position in which a row of heating elements of the movable clamp is in contact with the element in the form of an aerosol source.

EFFECT: it is possible to precisely control the amount of heat supplied to the aerosol generating component.
