FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymethacrylate producing method, which can be used in production of organic glass for aircraft industry, instrument making, for consumer goods production. Method of polymethyl methacrylate producing in methylmethacrylate mass in controlled mode is performed in presence of system consisting of radicals initiator, represented by azo-isooleic acid dinitrile, and additive while heating. Method is characterized by that additive used is 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diethyl phenyl)-o-iminobenzoquinone with molar ratio radical initiator:additive of 1:4. Technical result is producing of polymethyl methacrylate without gel effect, with high outputs (up to 74 %), controlled molecular weight and low polydispersity (PDI=1.4).
EFFECT: disclosed is polymethyl methacrylate producing method.
