FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing colloidal solutions of an amphiphilic block copolymer of butylacrylate narrowly dispersed by molecular weight and acrylic acid with a narrow distribution of micelles by size comprises polymerization of one monomer in the presence of a radical initiator and a low molecular agent of reversible chain transfer (RCT-agent) at the first stage, and copolymerization of the resulting polymer RCT-agent with the second monomer at the second stage. The method is characterized in the fact that at the first stage block polymerization of BA is carried out with the following component ratio: butylacrylate 97.2-99.72; radical initiator 0.1-1; RCT-agent 0.18-1.8; at the second stage a solution polymerization of AA in a mixture of aliphatic alcohol-water in the presence of a polybutylacrylate RCT-agent obtained at the first stage and a water-soluble radical initiator is carried out with the following component ratio: polybutylacrylate RCT-agent 4.4-19.7; acrylic acid 7-37; water-soluble initiator 0.09-0.55; aliphatic alcohol 65-85; water 8-33.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain in one synthesis both amphiphilic narrowly dispersed block copolymers and their concentrated colloidal solutions containing micelles with a narrow distribution by size ready without additional procedures for further use in the synthesis of hollow nanoparticles of metal oxides having practical importance.
