FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determining elastic properties of part with curved surface. Summary consists in that is radiation of ultrasonic waves beams is performed in direction of part surface incidence point so, that to generate waves in said part; wherein knowing part thickness d1 in said incidence point in first direction D1, perpendicular to tangent plane in this point, and thickness d2 in second direction D2, which forms certain angle α relative to first direction, performing first measurement of time t1, required to transmitted longitudinal waves for passage of distance d1 from said incidence point, second measurement of time t2, required to transmitted transverse waves for passage of distance d2 from said incidence point, determining Young's modulus and/or Poisson coefficient of material based on longitudinal VL= d1/t1 and transverse VT= d2/t2 speeds.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of curved shape parts nondestructive inspection.
