FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and design for control of introduction of solid particles in the chamber, containing fluid medium under pressure, as, for example, in mixers to mix and transfer large volumes of liquid solutions/sand during operations of in-well hydraulic fracturing. Device for mixing of fluids and solids has a housing which has upper input of solid particles and lower fluid inlet, motive force source that includes drive shaft extending into mentioned input of solid particles and outlet communicated with annular space in the housing above specified inlet for directing solution produced by mixing of solid particles, driven outside by impeller, with fluids, flowing in annular space in mentioned housing, impeller assembly having a main plate, surrounding the lower end of mentioned particles inlet and arranged in circle at a distance from each other, passing in radial direction blades installed on the main plate, wherein each blade has opposite side, passing outside from end surface adjacent to inner radial edge of the main plate and ending at the apex, adjacent to external peripheral edge of the main plate, each of the rear sides comprises a part projecting in circumferential direction on the path of the solution in space between adjacent blades for deviation of the solution in radially outward direction in annular space.
EFFECT: improved method and device for mixing of liquid and solid particles with a simple impeller assembly which minimizes wear, power consumption and replacement of parts, at the same time maintaining optimum conditions of mixing and preventing counterflow of liquid or solution back to eye of impeller.
