FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to oral care compositions and methods for using thereof. Proposed oral care compositions contains: 1-5 wt% of complex clay containing magnesium alkali and metal silicate; orally acceptable anionic polymer which is a copolymer of methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride, in the basis of teeth cleaning agent the anionic polymer is about 1-5 % of the weight of the composition; effective amount of fluoride selected from stannum fluoride, sodium fluoride, potassium fluoride, sodium monofluorophosphate or combinations thereof; potassium nitrate or potassium chloride in an amount effective to reduce dentin sensitivity; herewith, in the composition after introduction of the teeth cleaning agent the clay remains unhydrated. In particular, the hectorite clay can be used as the clay. Method for treating or preventing dental hypersensitivity is disclosed, involving administering an effective amount of said composition into the oral cavity of an object in need of such treatment.
EFFECT: using the group of inventions provides effective reduction of dental hypersensitivity.
