FIELD: oral care products.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oral care products. The proposed dentifrice contains from 1 to 3% by weight of zinc phosphate, where zinc phosphate is added to the dentifrice as a preformed salt, arginine in free or orally acceptable salt form in an amount of 1 to 8% by weight, from 2 to 8% by weight of an alkaline phosphate salt selected from sodium phosphate dibasic, potassium phosphate dibasic, calcium pyrophosphate, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, tetrapotassium pyrophosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, and a mixture of any two or more of these, from 700 to 2000 ppm fluoride-based dentifrice with a silicon dioxide-based abrasive.

EFFECT: use of the above composition provides improved zinc deposition and enamel acid exposure protection compared to compositions containing arginine and zinc citrate.
