FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to location of wireless communication means. For this purpose the device location can be detected through a GPS or a service of position detecting and used in order to identify the user interface, which can be in the area around the device within a threshold distance from the desired position. Then a beacon of a close field radio system is used associated with the user interface to determine the distance from the beacon. When determining the fact that the device is within the threshold distance from the beacon, an application is activated associated with the user interface on the device, herewith the threshold distance is based on a type of the user interface. Thus the user can interact with the user interface, for example, listen to description of art works, when the user moves around a museum.

EFFECT: technical result is improved awareness on a location of the device providing activation of the target application on the user device.
