FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to convert three-phase AC voltage into DC one with periodicity of rectification of 12N (where N=1, 2, 3, 4…). Converter comprises zero input terminal, N (where N=1, 2, 3, 4, …) of three-phase controlled gate bridges, by input terminals connected to same group of main three-phase transformer first group of phase windings output terminals; one pair of magnetic conductors of balancing reactors (BR) with N pairs of their windings, which one pair of extreme output terminals is connected to N pairs additional diodes one pair of opposite electrodes, and other one is to said bridges poles. Bridges output terminals are formed by BR windings intermediate output terminals, dividing number of each winding turns to unequal parts. Three-phase transformer phase windings second group is connected with same terminals to additional bridge with controlled (uncontrolled) gates three input terminals with N≥2 (with N=1). Additional bridge fourth input terminal is connected to main three-phase transformer phase windings third group first extreme terminal, connected in open triangle. Controlled bridges gates are open on unequal angles. Interphase current distributor is made on additional transformer, which phase windings are connected by same terminals and common point of other terminals to phase windings first group of similar terminals and to zero input terminal. Each pair of similar phase windings of first and second groups of main three-phase transformer accordingly forms series connection, connected free terminal to phase input terminal. Main three-phase transformer phase windings third group second extreme terminal is connected with zero input terminal, and its first extreme terminal, similar to phase winding terminal, connected to phase input terminal, - to each pair of additional diodes electrodes common point. According to second version, said second extreme terminal, similar to phase winding terminal, connected to phase input terminal, is connected to zero input terminal and to each pair of additional diodes electrodes common point.

EFFECT: technical result is increasing of transformer windings by current and voltage use.
